WHAT MISTAKES DID YOU MAKE AS A BEGINNER
AND HOW DIFFICULT IT WAS TO BEGIN?
L.P.: My biggest mistakes were skipping meals, sleeping just a few hours and not knowing what to
and when to eat. Also working out with just few excercises and bad form. But overall it was easy to
start for me because I had spors background.
YOUR TIPS, HOW PEOPLE CAN STAY DEDICATED?
L.P.: It is crucial to realize that it’s more than a sport, it’s a lifestyle. It requires 24 hours of dedication
It is important to know that goals are everything. Set long-term goals and mentally visualize your ideal
body. After this you have to work at 200%, and realize that this is a road that only you can do!
WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
L.P.: Bodybuilding have changed my life, sport shapes us, causes us to be more confident and friendly
towards others. Im proud of that, what i could achieve!
DO YOU PREFER TO BULK OR TO STAY LEAN ALL YEAR ROUND?
L.P.: Due to the competitions I have to modify my workout and food throughout the year, so I need to
gain weight in certain time of the season. But overall i prefer to stay lean all year round. It’s a lifestyle.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE EXERCISE AND WHY?
R.B.: Wow, hard to pick just one favorite exercise. I like training all body parts and have my favorites for
each one. But If I had to choose just one it would be lunges. I do different variations (walking, stationary,
on the smith machine, with & without weight) I think lunges have really helped to not only build but also
shape my legs and glutes the most.
ONE DAY IN YOUR LIFE!
HOW DOES YOUR NUTRITION LOOK LIKE WHEN YOU ARE CUTTING?
L.P.: When I’m cutting i eat 6 meals a day. Here is my schedule:
1. 1- 5 eggs whites ,oatmeal and avocado (or peanut butter)
2. 2-chicken breast, sweet potatoes and almonds
3. 3-chicken breast, sweet potatoes, mushrooms and brocolli
4. 4- 5 eggs whites, rice and almonds
5. 5- Fish, brocolli, olive oil
6. 6- 5 eggs whites, almonds.
And at least a gallon of water a day.
HOW DOWS YOUR OFF DAY LOOK LIKE?
L.P.: I try to rest as much as possible, and eat some things i would not eat on a training day.
WHO ARE YOUR IDOLS?
L.P.: Kai Greene, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Frank Zane and Rob Riches.
WHAT SUPPLEMENTS DO YOU USE, IF ANY?
L.P.: Whey protein, bcaas, glutamine, casein, omega-3.
